Shaun Smith, Principal Consultant, brings over 17 years of experience in environmental management roles on a range of significant and major infrastructure and energy sector projects across Australia. Shaun has a comprehensive track record and is a natural leader who provides excellent communication, practical solutions, efficient use of project resources, and specialist technical advice.

Shaun has fulfilled Environmental Manager roles for principal contractors on major energy infrastructure projects as well as Client Environmental Representative roles for asset owners during the construction phase. These roles have focused on ensuring compliance with regulatory approvals through the provision of technical advice and guidance, appropriate reporting and interface with relevant Government agencies, asset owners, landowners and other stakeholders.
Since acquiring his accreditation as a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) in 2019, Shaun provides specialist Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) advice and produces certified ESCPs to a range of development projects and Clients on a regular basis, as well as undertaking site inspections, auditing and delivery of workforce education and training on ESC matters.
